Overview

Situated in the heart of Paris’s 9th arrondissement, 21 Martorell Creperie offers an authentic taste of Breton tradition with a contemporary twist. Nestled on Rue de Douai, this small yet inviting creperie is a gem for both locals and visitors seeking classic French galettes and sweet crepes. The location’s cozy atmosphere invites casual dining or a quick, satisfying meal amidst the bustling city.

The menu shines with standout dishes like the Galette Oeuf Jambon Et Fromage, a perfect balance of egg, ham, and cheese folded into a warm, crispy buckwheat galette. For those craving a richer experience, the burger-style galettes crafted with organic steaks, Emmental, and bacon offer hearty, rustic flavors elevated by fresh greens and sautéed potatoes. Notably, the creation by Christian Parra featuring preservative-free black pudding from Anne Rozès adds a touch of regional authenticity rarely found elsewhere.

Sweets enthusiasts will find delight in the Nutella crepes, praised for their creamy texture and lingering warmth, as well as the dessert crepes topped with caramelized apples and honey. The quality of ingredients—fresh, local, and thoughtfully sourced—shines through each bite, enhancing the indulgence while maintaining a comforting familiarity. The addition of artisanal ice creams and house-made whipped cream complements the desserts beautifully, rounding out the culinary offerings.

Had the "Daffy Duck" galette, a bit pricey but worth it. Great location as well. Get there early as it does fill up quick.

Best crepe in Paris? I’m not sure, but my seven-year-old daughter thinks so. After lunch at Pink Mama across the street, we popped into this tiny cafe for a Nutella crepe to go. Staff was helpful and the wait was only five minutes. The crepe stayed hot for a long time and enjoyed by my daughter.

Even though it was just a Nutella crepe, my son said it was the most delicious one he ever had. He finished it within 5 minutes. Mine one was tasty too. Luckily that we picked this in Paris.

Probably one of our most memorable lunches in Paris. This place is small and cozy but the food and service is just remarkable. The ambience is welcoming and the food exceeded our expectations. We went with one simple complete one with Eggs, cheese and ham and a vegetarian one and both were excellent, fresh and hot. Will definitely recommend having a bite here if you are in the neighborhood.

So yummy, the food was great of course but the service was as wonderful. Our server was very sweet and even though we didnt speak great French he spoke wonderful english. The owner was there and chatted with us and they both were nice enough to take a photo with us so we could remember the experience!

Such a gem if you appreciate crêpes! Remember there are regular/plain and buckwheat crêpes. I enjoyed both tonight with a glass of French Chardonnay. Formidable!
